IBEI offers its students the possibility to participate in an exchange programme.
Participating in the exchange programme implies extending the master's to 18 months as students will need another semester to accommodate their stay abroad. Those students participating in the part-time option of the master's in International Relations can integrate the exchange programme in their 2-year study programme.

Those students who wish to participate in the exchange programme would spend one semester of the master's programme at the foreign university of their choice, take a number of electives there, and the credits obtained abroad will count towards their IBEI master's degree.
Students can spend their exchange semester at any of the following partner universities located in the following cities:
IBEI celebrates the Graduation
Ceremony of its Masters
In June 2019, IBEI celebrated the graduation ceremony of its master’s programmes at the CaixaForum Barcelona.
Cristina Gallach, High Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda of Spain, attended the Graduation Ceremony 2019 as a keynote speaker.
Fulya Apaydin, Assistant Professor at IBEI, took part as a speaker to address the students, congratulating and encouraging them in their promising future after their studies at the IBEI. The IBEI students Vilma Adela Davalos (Master's in International Development), and Drake Palmer Starling (Master's in International Relations), participated as well giving a speech on behalf of the rest of their classmates.
IBEI, in collaboration with other institutions, offers the possibility to apply for scholarships that partially or completely cover the tuition fees for the master’s programmes.
Alumni Scholarship for a student
from an African university
In 2019 a student from Ghana was able to benefit from the Alumni Scholarship to study a Master's in International Relations at IBEI. The initiative was a joint effort with Worldcoo, a company cofounded by IBEI alumnus, Sergi Figueres. Worldcoo connects committed companies with NGO’s and other entities, to fund projects with a huge impact on society.
Meet the student Bright Kwarteng from Ghana, grateful for receiving the #IBEIalumni Scholarship and having the chance to study in Europe.
